Waybuloo is a children’s television series aimed at pre-school age children. It was first aired on CBeebies in May 2009 and has already been compared to the great success of the Teletubbies as it has caught on to children’s imaginations across the nation. It has been described by the program makers as “…a philosophy for a happy life, and is like nothing children will have ever seen before.”
Waybuloo is set in the fictional land of Nara. The main characters are called Piplings. There are 4 of them. They have large heads and eyes, and these CGI characters interact on a filmed background. The second half of each show features human children called cheebies, hence part of the massive success the series has achieved with pre-school children and the subsequent demand for Waybuloo Toys and accessories.
I got my son the yo jo jo talking toy, he loves it. Everytime Waybuloo comes on the tv he looks around for the toy. They are really nice toys, I must say quite pricey too but you dont need to buy the whole set just buy their favourite one.
